Beans Black (Organic)

Black beans are an excellent source of low-fat, plant-based protein and fiber. Soft, creamy, and mild. They take on they flavor of the ingredients they are cooked with, making them a multi-purpose bean. Soak overnight, drain, and rinse. Add 4 cups water for every cup of beans. Liquid should be 1-2" above top of beans. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Origin: USA
