About
Why you should join us
An average household adds ONE THOUSAND pieces of plastic to landfill from just pantry staples in a year.

But now we don't have to!

Thank you for your interest in our endeavor. If you are here, you are, like us, thinking about human impact on the planet.
Here is some of the latest research on plastic that motivates us:

-
In the oceans alone, there are now more than 21,000 pieces of plastic for each human on earth, and this number is growing.
-
Only 9% of plastic produced is getting recycled today.

To have meaningful impact on plastic pollution, it is extremely important to reduce our use of it. Demand reduction will also reduce production, which relies on fossil fuels.

We know you want to help, and we want to make it possible for you to do so!
Our Name
When we make sustainable choices, we are kind to the planet and all it's creatures. And this kindness will ensure that there is plenty for everyone.
Our name reflects this belief and serves as a reminder to be kind and that sustainability is a solution of plenty.
Our Story
Kind and Plenty started from the realization that most pantry staples do not need the single-use plastic packaging that they are sold in everywhere.
Bulk goods stores provide clean and sustainable alternatives by allowing you to bring your own container, or providing reusable containers. We are bringing the clean packaging of bulk goods store to your home, with the convenience of online ordering and delivery.

Equally important to us is the quality and supply-chain of the food we bring to you. Most of our food is organic, or non GMO, locally sourced wherever possible and always high quality.

We continue to critically evaluate our own business practices and find opportunities to reduce waste.

We have a holistic approach to sustainability: We
-
Support environmentally responsible producers
-
Reduce food waste
-
Source food as locally as possible
-
Remove single-use plastic packaging
-
Expand products offered in bulk and follow the tenets of Zero Waste.
